A figure guides his horse across the plain, another two horses and their riders following closely behind. Small shrubs sprinkle the scene, a few trees dotted throughout. Detailed mountains fade almost entirely into the background, grounding the scene while emphasizing the foreground’s subjects. The complete scene is beautifully washed out and bright, producing light across the canvas.
